Officials of the Ministry of Finance say that if the agreement is signed
first, the work of financing will be easier. In this regard, the sources say
that no clear answer has been received from the IMF so far. First there will be
an agreement or another 3 billion dollar guarantees will have to be given, in
this regard Pakistan is waiting for the job of the IMF. A response will be
received from the IMF on the loan plan. The plan to get money from the donor
conference in Geneva was also given to the IMF. It was given to Pakistan and
IMF. At present, frantic efforts are being made for a staff level agreement
between Pakistan and the IMF. It
should be remembered that the IMF has imposed a condition on Pakistan that it
has been provided with written assurances regarding financing from the friendly
